Dumped Tailoring for Herbalism---Finally!

Getting Zaa to 70 was my main goal when BC came out, and never once messed with her professions, which were tailoring and alchemy. They were both 300, I was thrilled to have maxed out both. But I haven't done anything with them at all, and mostly noticed that
a. I am dependent on my other characters to get my herbs, and since none of them were above lvl 60, I had no access to the high lvl herbs to raise my alchemy.
b. Tailoring is an extremely expensive profession to lvl, and just doesn't make money for me at all.
c. I found myself only using my professions to help out my lower lvl alts.
I have decided to focus on Zaa primarily now, shooting for all heroic keys and ----ta da---her epic flying mount! Yes, I am a member of Altaholics Anonymous, and am guilty of having SEVERAL other characters, the highest of which is 62, the lowest a lvl 19 priest. I used Zaa mainly as my gold maker, to fund my lower lvls. Well, no more! Just yesterday I made 400 gold by determined questing (did all the group quests in BE Mountains yay they are DONE) and broke 1k gold and I thought--hey, I could make more gold if I had better professions! Soooooo I did it. I actually dropped tailoring and took up herbalism. Didn't have much time to play today, with all ( I have 8 children) my kids home from school now wanting to be on the computer too, but in 20 minutes playtime I got my herbalism up to 86! I can just see the gold pouring in ladies! *rubbing hands together gleefully while cackling and counting my money*

So now my big question is (well actually I have 2 big questions) the FIRST big question is: Which specialization should I take in my alchemy which will be the easiest/best way to make money? and my OTHER big question is: How do you guys make posts that have a link in it that expands your entry? I always feel like my entry is so long, but I don't know how to do that thing you all do.

Oh, and yay for Jordin Sparks!!!! Everybody in my house was glued to the tv last night, watching American Idol, and we so hoped Blake would not win, he just didn't have the talent that Jordin did, you should have heard the screams when her name was announced! Raised the roof I tell you!
See you all ingame!

Last night

Morning all!
In my guild, we have a guy who has 4 accounts of his VERY OWN, 2 computers, and we call him Team Az. All of his characters' names start with the letters Az. He routinely runs 2 accounts on each computer in windowed form, and clears out strat, scholo, ubrs, etc 4 man all by himself! Talk about hardcore!
Soooo he gave me this idea---Why couldn't I borrow my son's 70 mage and run my baby hunter through scarlet monastery the same way? What I normally do is plunk my daughter (21 in the natl guard) on a computer with my low lvl, and I get on my computer with my son's mage, and I run through and aoe and she just loots. Last night, I did it myself and it worked! A little laggy having 2 wows running on my computer at once, but still, so nice to not have to be dependent on another person to help me!
My low lvl Taisi looted all, and picked up several greens and a few boss blues to de. Her enchanting is at 225, and I am stockpiling mats for her run to Uldamann to learn artisan enchanting from the trainer there. I found an enchanting guide http://www.blizzardguides.com/Enchanting_guide.html and these are the mats I need to have with me so I can learn all the recipes in one trip:
9 stacks of vision dust
2 stacks of dream dust
2 stacks of lesser nether essence
1 stack of greater nether essence
Phew! It's not a super complete guide, for example, it doesn't list every single enchant and where to get it from, but it does show what armor/weapon lvls de into, which is what I need right now.
I'm going to have plenty of runs in the next couple of days so I can have the mats for all that. Also, I am not familiar with Uldaman, so I think today I'm going to run Zaa through there so I can get familiar with the layout. I have Atlas loot, but for some reason the only instance dungeon it will display is always the wrong one what's with that? I've deleted it and gotten it again twice. /sigh.
I have never had enchanting before. It is an expensive profession! Good thing I have Zaa to bankroll it all. Taisi's other prof is skinning, which is definitely a good money maker. Seems my medium leather sells better than the others, not sure why! I usually send half my medium leather to my 19 priest, she has engineering and needs that for exploding sheep. I won't be keeping her at 19 much longer. She is the only character that I 'twinked' out, and has 1332 hitpoints at lvl 19---crazy, isn't it?---she still can't last more than 10 seconds in the bg with all the rogue/hunter/warrior/pally dps. Actually, I twinked her out in a failed attempt to at least be able to compete in that bracket. I do so love to pvp, and it really really bothers me that I have to wait until I am in my 30's before I can go! Thank heaven for battleground matching in the next patch! And one nice thing, I won't have to buy my baby priest any gear for a bit, she's got enough hitpoints to last her for a while!
Here's a link to my priest's armory, so you can see how I got her hitpoints so high: http://armory.worldofwarcraft.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Whisperwind&n=Auralay
I could actually get her hitpoints higher if I wanted by getting more stam enchants, and I have never enchanted her staff because I cannot stand the thought of spending that much gold for that!
See you all ingame---have a great day!

Fantabulous Day on Wow

Another good day for Taisi. Got her another lvl, so she's 35 now. Headed to Hammerfall and got her first aid up to 300 woooooooooooooot! Then off to Gadgetzan to work on cooking. Got a quest from the goblin cook there to learn cooking up to 300. This is where it comes in handy to have a lvl 70 to do all my farming for me! Grabbed Zaa, my 70, and she farmed the 12 giant eggs Taisi needs to complete the quest. Found the 10 zesty clam meat in the auction house, and bought the 20 alterac swiss from the innkeeper in TB. Then, of course, I had to log to do the mom thing and make supper for my crew here. Everything is waiting in my mailbox when I log Taisi back in, then time to cook away! One thing I really need to work on with her is fishing. For some reason I never ever want to just sit there clicking on a bobber. I don't like fishing in real life. Well, at least I don't have to actually touch a worm or fish in the game do I? And I so hate the smell of worms!

Hunters are the easiest class to lvl, and I'm real pleased with Taisi's progress. Okay I have to admit something incredibly stupid to everyone, and I hope you will all learn from my mistake.
In January, after BC came out, our server was so bogged down with new people that the queue time was incredible, 30 to 45 minute wait times, and blizz offered free transfers to a new server. My entire guild discussed it and decided to take advantage of the free move, because blizz said if enough people didn't leave they would forcibly split the realm. Now let me insert that everybody in my family has their characters on the realm. So without talking to anybody I moved ALL MY CHARACTERS to the new server. Man was my family mad, now we could never quest together, etc. I, of course, felt I had done the right thing. Boy, was I WRONG. First off the economy stunk. Then no pvp. Nobody there. You know how creepy it is to be in Orgrimmar and you are the ONLY person in there? Yeah. Then the worst thing happened. Yep, my guild fell apart. So here I am with Zaa, lvl 70, nice flying mount, and nothing else. No heroic keys. No key to Kara. No good gear at all. And now the guild I left for completely split up because of drama. So I paid to transfer Zaa back to my original realm and I am SO HAPPY that I did that!
Well, I can't transfer all my characters back, I'm not rich, I decided to bring one more over, so I'm bringing my 47 rogue back too, and leaving the others to rot. She's my high end herbalist and I love her! I may not be able to keep her name, Ironraven, I guess I should check and see if I can make a character with that name, save it for her.
So ladies, don't EVER EVER EVER take advantage of free transfers, you might be the exception and be glad you left but I missed everyone on my original realm and am so glad to be back.
I'm off to play Taisi! See you ingame. If you are on Whisperwind server and one of the glorious Horde, look me up!

First Entry in my new journal

My very first entry in my wow journal!
I'll start off by telling you a bit about myself 'wow-wise'.
I started playing wow almost 2 years ago, and have tons of characters on my account. My household currently has 3 accounts and 4 computers. I have gotten the following people addicted--my husband, 2 of my sons, 2 of my daughters, and have a 10 year old boy itching to play.
I have a 70 troll mage named Zaa who just got keyed for Kara, so I'm sure I'll be relating my experiences to you all about that. I have been mainly lvling my belf hunter named Taisi. She is lvl 33, and a joy. I do have a 62 hunter on a different server than what I'm playing on, but I am so done with trolls. My new little hunter has Mazzranache for her pet, and I sure enjoy having a unique partner to quest with. I've named her Daisi, and have gotten several tells asking 'omg where did you get that pink pet!'.
I enjoy collecting vanity pets. My signature pet is the white kitten, and as I'm primarily a horde player, I like to flaunt it a bit! All of my characters have one. More than anything I want a disgusting oozling, but I haven't really made the effort to grind for it. I also love the red moth, so pretty!
So onto the actual journal part.
Today I quested with Taisi in Arathi Highlands, completing several quests and hitting 33. Also finished Helcular's revenge, I always wonder what the alliance think when someone rezzes Helcular in the Southshore graveyard (he's an elite undead) and he walks around killing guards! Amazingly enough I didn't die!
Last night I did 3 instances with my way awesome guild, Reign of Honor, and got the remaining fragments for my key to karazhan. We did steamvaults, arcatraz, and black morass, and I am so happy!
I'm new to the guild, just joined 1 week ago, and my sons are in it. On the guild forums in response to my application someone asked if i was a milf. And I didn't know what a milf was. But I do now! I swear men are disgusting pigs.
I sure enjoy using vent to quest and do instances. Sure makes the game more fun, and noone can pretend to be a guy/girl in vent can they.
Waiting for my kids to go to bed so I can hop on wow. Sometimes it is hard to wait until they are all tucked in, especially since my guild starts kara runs at 7.
At the moment, Zaa is 40 arcane/21 fire, and I'm toying with respeccing yet again. I have always loved the burst damage of fire, and was 10 arcane/51 fire since I hit 70. But. Frost is so handy for pvp! With fire you kill fast, but you don't have much control over situations. Frost has iceblock and ice barrier, not too sure what I think about the elemental. My son is full arcane, and swears by slow, especially in pvp. He's main flag carrier in wsg, and since slow is instant cast can keep people off him quite nicely. Gotta love that blink and frost nova!
Taisi is 23 beast master, just placed my first point in markmanship, and I enjoy the damage my pet does, but I'm sure in pvp I won't like it. Do like intimidation though. My son and a super good friend of mine have alts Taisi's lvl, and we're looking forward to pvping when we hit 38 or 39. Both pallies, I believe we will pwn those pre-pubescent ally boys into the ground!
Yay bedtime for the kiddoes, looks like its log-in time for me!
